"I’m so grateful that I found Megan to take care of my cats when I moved to Minnesota last year! Megan is the best pet-sitter I’ve ever had for my sweet kitties. She is responsive and always gets back to me promptly when I contact her about her availability. She’s reliable and I never have to worry about anything when I’m out of town because I know she’ll take excellent care of my kitties. Most importantly, Megan loves my cats! She gives them affection and focused attention when I’m away, whether it’s snuggling with them on her lap or playing with them with their toys. She also takes fabulous photos (several of which I used in my annual holiday letter!) and provides detailed information about how the visits are going. Lately I’ve had to ask Megan several times to take care of my cats on short notice because of an ongoing family health emergency out of state. "Wow - Megan at Metro Pet Care had us blown away! The attention to detail and professionalism really couldn't have been beat. Our two dogs, Mater and Cheena, were so well taken care of with the Almost Overnight Care. With all the love they had for the long weekend, I could've been mistaken for thinking Megan was there with them 24/7. We recieved so many fun and reassuring updates - she took a special request to send additional pictures of our dachshund tucked in with a blankie by adding them in to the full photo package every day. They are both spicy little dogs who don't warm up to people well - if at all - but they immediately took a liking. We can't wait to have Megan again!!

"When we had the opportunity to take a trip to Iceland, we decided we would need someone that could spend a lot of time with Dougal, Kayla and Pip and give them the care they need. I started looking for pet sitters, and I found Megan. She responded right away to my inquiry. I had noted all the medical issues (myocardiopathy, thrombocytopenia, and epilepsy). We did a meet and greet, and the pets loved her. Megan was so good with all of them, and she wasn't hesitant to take on their challenges. No one but us (and the emergency vet staff) had ever witnessed Kayla's seizures. But Megan showed us that she was not only capable, but very professional and caring. She sent photos and day-to-day notes while we were gone, and we stopped worrying. She did have to deal with a seizure while we were in Iceland, but she knew exactly what to do, and Kayla recovered right away. I'm so glad that we found Megan, and we would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone!"

When we were away Megan followed our instructions to a “T”, sent frequent and detailed reports, and provided extensive photographic evidence of what a good time they all were having in our absence. "After multiple terrible experiences with the typical dog sitting apps, I was recommended Megan/Metro Pet Care. Megan has watched my pup multiple times, and I can FINALLY relax while traveling. I know my dog and my space will be well taken care of. My dog has behavioral issues that can make her a little bit difficult to care for. Megan keeps me updated if her behavior is abnormal but also finds the most positive parts of her quirky behavior. I can't recommend her enough!"

"We highly recommend hiring Metro Pet Care! Megan was amazing with our two cats and two dogs, all of which have their quirks. Our cats are usually pretty shy with new people but they were both really affectionate and social with her. We have one reactive dog and one highly food motivated dog and this was our first time hiring a pet sitter because we felt like they were too much of a handful to leave with someone else lol. Alas, we decided to elope in Las Vegas and Megan came highly recommended from a reactive dog Facebook group so we met with her and were really impressed and felt comfortable leaving our crew with her. She gave us daily updates and amazing photos while we were gone which allowed us to be fully present on our trip and not worry. Our animals clearly loved her and there weren't any issues while we were gone for 4 days. Our pets are ready for us to travel again so they can hang out with Megan :)"

We received detailed updates and pictures of our cats daily, which alleviated the anxiety and stress in leaving our boys. Our cats also bonded with her immediately, including our more “aloof” cat. She knew exactly how to engage him. (He never bonded with prior carers). I can’t say enough about how caring and reliable she is. "I cannot say enough good things about our dog sitter Megan. She has stayed with our 10-year-old Lab and 4-year-old Pug for several extended vacations. And having her care for them has completely put our mind at ease about leaving town. She painstakingly follows our instructions with the dogs and sends an abundance of photos and videos. We can tell they absolutely love her and we have the video evidence to prove it; they also seem rested and not overly enthusiastic to see us when we return home! :) The dogs’ well-being is obviously our priority, but as a bonus she takes care of “house” things like taking in deliveries, watering plants and making sure the house is clean when we return.
